Welcome to the pediatric endocrinology practice of Barry J. Reiner, MD.
Our office specializes in the management of children with diabetes, thyroid disorders, growth and puberty concerns, as well as all other endocrine issues.
Dr. Reiner is a well-known and respected specialist living and working in the Baltimore community and is referred to daily by primary care physicians not only from Maryland, but also from Delaware, Pennsylvania, Washington, D.C., and Virginia. He is the father of five children (all now officially teenagers!), and is well-versed in dealing with the day-to-day dealings of "growing up".
In addition to an active private practice, Dr. Reiner is a faculty member of the Division of Pediatric Endocrinology at Johns Hopkins Hospital. He has been included in Baltimore magazine's survey of "Top Docs" on several occasions.
A diagnosis of a life-threatening disorder can disrupt life for the entire family. We know this. Our staff has first-hand knowledge. We bring our experiences together and can relate to our families on a personal level. In time, we can show that a diagnosis, while devastating, doesn't have to destroy.
The staff is genuinely warm and friendly (as long as we've had our coffee).

Our office participates in several clinical and research trials, which we offer to our patients when it is in their best interests.
